Taz.....just for the record.......being called "jackass" and "jerky", are NOT my idea of "having fun"..........and while I had every opportunity to retaliate (in kind) with verbal abuse back towards you......I chose to play it off in a joking way......but believe me when I say.....it was an effort on my part, not to go off like a pipe bomb.....
It is evident that you don't care for Lynch or Petty (or their crew people)....and HEY...that's cool........there are a number of people out there that I ain't real fond of either........but really.....ya need to mind yer manners......If you have a problem with me or anyone else....rant and rave via private messages, or email.....(mine is certainly NOT "unlisted"!! )......NOT in a public forum!

| JP and Billy Mac, you guys better be careful--this tazzer guy sounds pretty tough, at least while he is anonamously hiding behind his "code name" and private E-mail. And I must say I am impressed--He has a "friend" with a 10.5 car! Wish I knew someone with a 10.5 car. In my opinion his comments/observations/rants mean nothing without him putting a name to them. Our legal system gives the accused the right to face their accuser. This board should do the same--require a verifiable name to post--not a screen name. David Sheppard

What the hell was all this about anyway, I was talking about making the cars a little safer and everybody went off in a rant. I think we all need to go to huntsville and race and get some winter time pentup aggression out! I,m leaving right now see ya,ll up yonder in da mountans!!!!!

As for the rest of ya, my name is Jeff Sheppard, imagine that David, I own a real 10.5 car that I usually race in Texas , I also own a Super Gas Maverick, I will be at the Gators this weekend with the Maverick, look for it if you come down, it's canary yellow with no decals. I live in Clearwater,Fl. I ain't to hard to find, as a matter of fact, dig out your old National Dragster's, I have been on the cover twice, once as a world champion.
I used the picture of Barry's Chevelle as an example as I personally do not own an outlaw car and don't want to. Point taken nosbill, I understand W's come in different sizes, I was just making a point, also why does Bill run his car so much lighter??

ain't dat blasted Maverick equipped with a Chebbie motor???.......I've seen it...NIce car...cept' fer the motor....(LOL).....and you may (or may not) remember my Stupid Gasser....69' Stang Coupe....."Iron Pegasus"......(sadly....not out to play since the 2002 Division Race @ G'ville)......But I AM coming back!!!!.............Me and my Partner, Tim also have an Outlaw 10.5 Camaro......(its Tim's.....I just helped him build it...)
We are SUPPOSED to be in Huntsville this weekend.....but Tim developed a case of the sniffles......and decided not to make the trip.......Oh well....perhaps the NEXT race on the schedule!

| When did Keith and Brad turn into Chassis Builders. Keiths car was built at STRAIGHT LINE RACE CARS. The carbon fiber was installed at ZARTECK RACE CARS. Zar came on board at the end of the project and helped with the turbo install. Some more info Brads car was built at ZARTECK not at sheppards but david did install the 5 speed and up date it to spec. The car was built in 8 weeks at Zar's Brad did not have the time or money to build a spec car at that time. Keith did get a screw on that deal with Shane . That's typical for Shane .Jimmy built the car for Keith on the buddy deal , the only person that benefited on that deal was Shane. Credit were credit is due.

This is the last post I will make on this subject. Reguardless of what anybody thinks about who built what or who was involved with the car. The fact remains that a buyer (Shane) and a seller (Keith) agreed on a price for the car. It does not matter who worked for free ,what parts he was given or how much Keith paid to construct the car. He accepted the money and released the car to Shane and both agreed on the price. It is now Shane's to do with as he pleases.
I am friends with everyone that is envolved in this soap opera and it is a private matter between them.
A car owner has no obligation to a driver. He can have a different ass in the seat every race if he wants. And from what i have seen the car has done very well with the exception of this weekend when it had a mechanical failure

| If they didn't have a good car they could not have gone that fast .Straight line chassis built Tim's car and the car that Keith Neal had SLRC build. I don't know what part Shane had in the build of the car, he could have been a silent money man who know's who cares. the Quality of the car is the best out there. The paint is good too.

| SR290, Sorry how I worded my earlier post. AFTER the car left SLRC, which Jimmy did a fantastic job with, Keith and Brad and many others spent alot of time to finish the car. The attention to detail is second to none in that car.

If you know so much about what Steve and Tim are doing and you say it "aint gonna" last much longer just lay it out for all too see.... If you are saying that they are up to illegal things then prove it.... just to let you know all that you have said is called SLANDER you F'n idot. As for calling people out I'm game.... with or without cars.... By the way Steve and Tim are probably two of the nicest guys I have met at the track and no Im not from GA or even what most call the south. But when it comes to headsup racing put up or shut up you say you have a new car I can find a few people and I think $10,000.00 starts like a good number to start off with. You think you can beat the BLACK CAR when it out of the shop then post back here and I will set it up!!!!!

How bout we do this, I set up the race, I have a top magazine cover it, let's make it something legitimate instead of some jerkwater backwoods deal, after I read your stupid post I've already gotten access to a car to take you up on your offer, it won't be in either of mine as I've said at least 10 times through out this thread, I DO NOT OWN AN OUTLAW CAR AND DO NOT WANT ONE!!!!!!!!! Let's make it 10 grand and tow rigs, best of three, everything counts so make sure you come ready the first time, no reruns, if you red light, tuff, if you let off, tuff, if you cross the center line, tuff, all three passes count, I'll even go so far as to let you in on a little secret, the car your so called buddies will be going up against has no turbo, no blower and no nitrous, it's all motor and you will be more than welcome to look it over, as a matter of fact, we'll let the magazine people choose a techman of their choosing to check out both cars, it can happen at a track we both agree on, neutral ground so to speak, since Im in Florida and they in Georgia I think it would be fair to both parties to go somewhere else other than a track from our two states, maybe let the magazine decide where it happens,hell, I maybe able to get them to pay for the trip if it's a long distance, It's your move, make it a good one! lets get the rules tied down and then we can talk. As JP says are you willing to race Petty and Lynch in ORSCA trim and both cars will be legal for the class? If so I will set this in action Im not posting my info here as I happen to be part of the Performance Industry and to keep things personal and not in any way have things tied back to the company I work for I will keep it that way. I will find someone to keep my end of the bargain in public and will remain in the background. Please let me know and I will keep chacking back......

| in the game, I also am in the performance industry and I damn sure ain't skeered, I think we need to decide what the rules will be together, why should I play by their rules and why should they play by mine? To be fair we'll come up with something we all agree on. Yes J.P., you understood correctly, om W's with no turbo,blower or squeeze.I don't think it'll be ORSCA rules but maybe, who knows, we'll come up with something together that both parties will be happy with. Back to in the game, here's a few questions for you, who's money are you playing with? Have you even mentioned this to lynch/petty? Are they willing to play? Are they willing to do this in a manner in which no one's reputation get's damaged? I mean I'll be honest, you don't know who I am although a few may have figured it out, after all I have been racing NHRA and IHRA super classes for years, but I also understand as much as I dislike lynch and co. they do have a pretty big following and seeing as how myself and you, in the game are both in the perf. industry and the fact that I can most likely get a high profile magazine involved we should at least try to keep it civil, that ball is really in their court. Back to some rules, the cash, yes i said CASH!!, should and will be held by a neutral party, either the track owner/promoter or the magazine people, and as I said earlier, it should take place at a race track outside of either of our home states, Im leaning toward maybe Virginia Motorsports Park or Roxboro Motorsports Park in NC. Here's as little as Im letting out right now, this Florida boy as some of you refer to is bringing a Mustang, very nice car, I have driven this car before, lotsa motor, and yes it can get that ass!! Let me know something in the game and I'll respond as soon as I can.
