Tazz632: If you agree to race on 10.5W tires at 3000lbs with no Turbo, Blower or Nitrous for $10,000. There are at least a dozen cars that will take that bet.
Do you not realize that the fastest cars on 10.5w tires are in ORSCA? And none of them run without a power adder.
Do you think you can outrun the best racers in Outlaw racing? I don't think a Pro Stock driver would be willing to bolt on 3000lbs and try 10.5's against our best. They already think our drivers are crazy for running on the skinny's.
If you really believe this you will need a motor that can make at least 36 passes, because there will be a dozen cars lined up and waiting.
If nothing else you are very entertaining!

AHHH J.P., first off I don't have anything to prove to the 10.5 outlaw guy's in ORSCA, I doubt considering what it cost to run these type of car's not many can wager 10 grand on a best of three or would even take that type of risk. One thing ole grand dad told me before he left this shitty world, take out the big dog first and ya don't have to worry about the rest, now, seeing as how some see Lynch/Petty as the big dog since running a six, I plan to lay the smack down, in the game thinks he can make this happen so we'll see. I have no beef at all with the 10.5 outlaw cars what so ever, I love to watch those guy's, I just choose not to partake in that class. I doubt we'll be running at 3000 lb's, the car I will be using is required to weigh 2350 for the class it runs so Im not interested in adding over 600 lb's of ballast, I am willing to add some but not that much, and believe me when I tell you, this car don't need no power adder, with one carb this thing makes 1040 hp, with the two dominator's it makes 1925, so I don't think it will be a problem. One last thing before I close today J.P. I have never and will never consider myself better than anyone, I never said that and if I said anything to lead you to believe that I am truly sorry, I guess in the beginning I stuck foot in mouth so now Im out to prove a point, if I get taken down then I will be the first to admit defeat, we'll just have to wait and see if this can actually happen.

I understand now, you want to race a 3000lb car with a 2350lb one.
Ok if we could do this race on an aircraft carrier I can arrange to have a 60,000lb vehicle to race you with, but I have to warn you at the end of the run you may get a little wet Last edited on Thu Mar 31st, 2005 09:54 pm by J.P. |

| OK, enough of this, I have included a pic of the car Im using, I am being afforded this offer because I plan on purchasing this car, we have tested on 10.5 W's in a private session on 2 occasions, I have more than enough, here's the deal, I have a magazine interested, they'll do feature's on both car's and also do a cover story about lynch/petty and myself, they'll also cover this so called grudge race showdown between both car's, just like I said, best of three passes and each pass counts regardless of the outcome, if they break or I break in the first or second round the money is forfeited. Let's try and keep this professional for everyone involved. Here's what I would like to do, as I said, this car weighs 2350w/driver Im not about to add over 600 lb's to get to 3000, I have seen these outlaw cars run at 2800 lb's so I think that's a good number, I am running all motor, I assume they'll run twin turbo's, since I know what they are running, here's what Im bringing, 814 ci. Jon Kaase shotgun ford, no power adders, this car just went 6.41 @ 218mph in a private test, on 10.5 W's it was very close to the same et and mph. All that needs to be done is pick a track, a time, and to see if in the game is for real. The ball's in your court. Last edited on Mon Apr 4th, 2005 06:13 am by tazz632 |

| Thank dragracingonline, if this actually comes about I will be sure to let you know, as for you clint, if you would have read the post correctly you would have read where we tested this engine with 1 carb, not Kaase, it was done for $hit's and giggles while it was on the dyno, I will admit it didn't like it to well. Insult your intelligence, now that's funny I don't care who ya are. I guess you have failed to attend any IHRA event in the past year or two, these cars run 6.40's all day long, as a matter of fact this particular car went 6.40's two years ago so maybe you better do your homework before you show YOUR intelligence, as for bracket racing, I plan to, I sure as hell don't have 8 Wally's and two world titles setting in my trophy case by racing the keyboard. It's real obvious that's what you enjoy doing by the fact that your post was made after two in the morning, get a freakin job and stop free loading off your mom and dad!!

| I gotta watch more blue collar tv just to decipher that last response, never been to an IHRA race huh? I guess you must attend the illegal street races down in jerkwater usa. This will be my last response to you Mr. Goethe as it's obvious to me you don't have a damn clue. I just returned from the PRO race in Bradenton, now before you start cursing PRO I know all about their stupid rules and why most outlaw car's won't even deal with them, after reading their rulebook for not only that class but all the classes I can understand why, it's like trying to make sense of your post Goethe, as for working to make ends meat, I think with three daughters, a wife, a house and a rented garage housing three and soon to be four race cars, I have to do my fair share of work, not to mention the rising cost of racing in general. I think that about wraps it up for this one, I haven't seen anything from da game for lifer for awhile, maybe he went to Memphis, I know I should have. Git'er done!!

Tazz...is that britt floyds new car? I thought he was running turbo or supercharger? If he did run this so called 6.41 why wasnt he in texas this weekend? That was plenty fast enough for number 1 out there. Still wanna jerk around on fastest on a 10.5 wide? Can it be smaller than 10.5? Cause i know of a fella in Europe that would have no problem at all takin your money!

| Brandon, did you read the post?? This is not Britt Floyds car nor is it new, it's an old pro stock car outta IHRA, I will not disclose who it belongs to, it'll soon belong to me, and for the record, it's not borrowed, I am merely testing the car and will eventually be purchasing it to run in pro street. read the entire thread next time. I got a friend of a friends brothers uncles buddies sisters daddy over in Australia who'll run ya on 4 inch wide skinnies backwards and take all yer money, my god, did anyone here make it past first grade??!! By the way, the #1 qualifier in IHRA pro stock in Texas yesterday was a 6.42, I'll be damned, imagine that, as a matter of fact, there were six car's in the 6.40's, I can assure you, in the right air they will be in the 6.30's before the years end, like I said before, do your homework before ya run yer piehole!! | Tazz you dont have to be a douche bag but that looks very similar to the one floyd had. You act cocky like your full tube car can outrun a backhalf car and you are 650lbs light. Jusus fucking christ I would hope so! Do my homework before i run my piehole? HMMMMM Your statement, "I can assure you, in the right air they will be in the 6.30's before the years end, like I said before, do your homework before ya run yer piehole!!" Maybe YOU should do your homework there have already been 6.30's run ihra pro stock legal even a 6.36! And if you did run a so called 6.41@218 everyone would know about it regardless how much of a "closed session" it was. It ran 6.40's 2 years ago? There were only 5 or 6 cars that ran in the 40's in 03. And all cars are accounted for so whats your story now? And i know that car isnt new it was built the end of 02 for Morton....a guy who was the 13th person to get in the 6.40 club on 9/11/04...explain yourself now tazz i got facts you got??
