As far as I know.....a slip on muffler is legal......
(At first I hated the idea of putting mufflers on a race car...[when NHRA mandated that the Super Classes had to have em'].....but as I was runnin' Super Street at the time and wanted to run at the divisional level....I put em' on.......and have LOVED it ever since!!!!.......SOOOO much quieter inside the car......you can actually hear what the motor is doing..............Saved the starting line crew an oil cleanup at Gainesville's 2002 Division Race.......I heard something "way" wrong and shut it down......put a hole in both sides of the pan....but never dripped a drop on the track!!)
